 AFTER SCHOOL MATTERS

One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will directly benefit Give Every Child A Chance (GECAC) and their many programs.

GECAC has been providing South San Joaquin County students with free after school mentor/tutoring for the past 20 years. Their staff and volunteers assist students in our community, who are in jeopardy of failing one or more classes, and give these students a chance to work one-on-one with a tutor in after school sessions. Their highly successful programs are dependent upon the communities’ support, for which it serves. During the 2016-2017 school year, GECAC has served nearly 3,000 youth, with 264 volunteers, and 40 program locations throughout the communities of San Joaquin. Visit their website, www.gecac.net, for more information about their organization and its programs.
